Cube Target Thingie
I know, I know, it doesn't look like much of a gift, but this is great. The Ballistic Cube is a violently reactive target that jumps, bucks and boogaloos with each hit, then lands showing you a four-inch surface every time. Jeff Kruse, the wiggy-brilliant, chemist-engineer, makes lots of reactive and bullet-eatin' targets, and the Cube is the latest. My rifle-rated Cube has taken 12,675 rounds of 5.56mm, 8,050 of 7.62mm, 578 rounds of .50 BMG, and she still dances every time the music plays. One self-sealing, self-healing polymer formula for rifles, one for handguns, at www.JustShootMeProducts.com.

Guru Of Goop And His Boogaloo Block
Flat-paper targets have their uses, but my first love is reactive targets, and the more crazy unpredictable they are, the better. For pure funzo, I go to www.justshootmeproducts.com, the showcase for Jeff Kruse, this wiggy-brilliant chemist-engineer and hardcore shooter. His targets swing, leap, buck and boogaloo, and the best part is, they're almost indestructible, thanks to his self-healing secret-formula polymer-goop.
Now, here's your chance to get ahead of the Cutting Edge: Jeff just developed the Ballistic Cube for Marine Snipers. They wanted a violently reactive target that would soak up thousands of rounds of hits, and always fall presenting a four-inch-square target surface. The Leathernecks love it. My sample (see photo) has eaten over 20,000 rounds of 5.56mm, 7.62mm, and .50 BMG slugs - and she still dances.
At this moment, it's only suitable for rifle calibers, because pistol slugs could "stack up" and cause ricochet. But Jeff's adding the final newt's-eyes and bat-wings to the formula for an "all handguns" Ballistic Cube. Watch for it on the Web Site!
